Job Description

Lead and supervise mechanical operations and maintenance processes, ensuring safety, reliability, and cost?efficiency of all mechanical assets.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Maintenance Management

Develop and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all mechanical systems (e.g., HVAC, rotating equipment, pumps, heavy machinery) Coordinate maintenance teams (engineers, technicians), contractors, and cross-functional departments to minimize downtime and ensure uptime targets .

Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and evaluate the mechanical staff; define KPIs and enable capacity building through training programs . Manage team scheduling, performance reviews, and recruitment in coordination with

Safety, Compliance & Technical Standards

Ensure compliance with relevant safety and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA, local codes); perform audits and conduct incident investigations Develop or refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) and mechanical maintenance best practices

Project & Asset Management

Plan and execute mechanical upgrades, CAPEX projects, and system expansions while managing budgets, schedules, and technical scope Optimize spare parts inventory and manage procurement processes to support operations effectively

Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

Track equipment performance, analyze maintenance data such as MTBF, RCA results, and implement reliability improvements jobs. Generate performance reports and partner with planning, HSE, and operations teams to enhance efficiency
Qualifications

Education

: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline)

Experience

: 5-10?years in mechanical maintenance or operations; prior management experience
