JOB TITLE:

Mechanical Fit-Out Engineer (MEP)

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fit-Out Engineer to join our team. The engineer will be responsible for the design, coordination, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems within Fit-Out projects. The successful candidate will work closely with consultants, clients, project managers, and contractors to ensure mechanical systems meet project requirements and are executed to the highest standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 8 years of Middle East experience in mechanical/MEP fit-out projects, with leadership experience. Strong knowledge of mechanical design, HVAC systems, and relevant building codes. Proficient in AutoCAD and mechanical design software. Excellent project management, communication, and teamwork skills. Valid UAE Driving License. Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design & Planning:

Develop mechanical system designs, drawings, and specifications compliant with local codes.

Coordination:

Work with consultants, project managers, and other contractors to integrate mechanical systems into overall project design.

Installation & Commissioning:

Supervise installation and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems; ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications.

Cost Management:

Prepare cost estimates, monitor project budgets, and ensure cost-effective solutions.

Quality Assurance:

Implement quality control procedures and conduct inspections/tests to ensure system reliability and performance.

Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of mechanical design, installation, and maintenance activities; prepare as-built drawings and handover documentation.

Safety Compliance:

Ensure all mechanical works comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
