Mechanical Inspector
Job Description
JOB PROFILE/MISSION . Maintain in depth the knowledge of the condition of all plant equipment on a continuous basis. . Implement safety and environment regulations . Perform the planned inspection of all plant equipment and initiate work orders based on inspection results, including safety checks. . In case of deviation, perform first analysis and define priorities for each action. . Collect historical data (using the human senses of smell, as well as advanced detection techniques) . Follow-up and update preventive maintenance schedule. . Evaluate and improve the preventive maintenance job plans (from supplier's recommendation if existing), create and update the corresponding inspection job plans, in coordination with the planner . Inspect equipment / components or spare parts prior to introduce it into warehouse . Inspection includes running equipment / during shutdown and after maintenance . Carry out field inspections to clarify work order requests by others . Share with production / process patrollers the outcome of inspection. . Keep in file the information related to the execution of inspection (first level and specific) . Contribute to the RCA (Root Cause Analysis), recommending corrective actions. Participate in the reliability committee. . Issue and follow up work request
