Job Description

Next Engineering Consultants - RAK Branch is seeking a qualified

Mechanical Inspector

to oversee and ensure the quality and compliance of mechanical works on-site. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on inspection experience, attention to detail, and solid knowledge of UAE regulations and authority standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect site execution of mechanical works (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, etc.) for compliance with approved drawings and specifications. Monitor quality and report any non-conformities through inspection logs and NCRs. Verify the delivery and installation of mechanical materials and equipment. Review method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and supervision teams for smooth site operations. Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, and local authority regulations (DCD, DEWA, RAK Municipality, etc.). Maintain accurate and timely inspection records and reports.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. 7-10 years of mechanical inspection experience in the UAE. Strong understanding of mechanical systems and quality assurance procedures. Familiar with RAK Municipality and UAE authority submission standards. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
