SITE MANAGEMENT & DELIVERABLES - CONSTRUCTION STAGE

Reviewing project contract documents and monitoring construction activities to ensure compliance.

Monitoring and/or evaluating mechanical field tests as required.

Field checking installation and location of mechanical equipment, and other components of the mechanical system being installed.

Monitoring all mechanical installations to assure adherence to construction documents and National Mechanical Code requirements.

Verifying equipment settings, alignment and testing requirements.

Inspect construction site and record the execution of work; monitor progress against agreed program.

Ensure all mechanical and utilities work is in accordance with the contract

Conduct site inspections when required by the Resident Engineer (RE) and mechanical engineer.

Inspect work in progress for conformance to specifications, approved drawings and method statements

Coordinate with the contractor; liaise with other authorities

Working with a variety of technicians

Assist in reviewing shop drawings and review of "as-built" drawings

Prepare site measurement and surveying checks required by the RE and mechanical engineer.

Ensure documents and records are fully up to date and a trail of updates is maintained

TECHNICAL AND QA/QC

Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support or testing activities.

Coordinates on time reviews and comments on the materials and samples (when required).

Apply and implement quality assurance and quality control

Assures the site staff are complying with local health, safety and risk regulations

Monitors project quality performance and takes appropriate corrective action and to report infringements, problems and any unusual observations to immediate superior.

Testing & commissioning procedure implementation

Pay: AED11,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
