About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Mechanical Inspector

to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate must bring

5-7 years of consultant-side experience

and demonstrate a strong track record of working on

hotel projects

. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical systems, international codes, and UAE authority requirements, ensuring that all works executed on-site meet the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct daily inspections of mechanical works including

HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and other building services

. Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, local authority requirements, and international standards. Review and provide feedback on contractors' submissions including

shop drawings, method statements, ITPs, and material approvals

. Monitor site activities to verify workmanship, quality, and adherence to project schedules. Identify and report

non-conformances

; follow up with contractors on corrective and preventive actions. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders to resolve technical and construction-related issues. Maintain detailed inspection logs, prepare daily/weekly reports, and support the project team with progress tracking. Participate in site meetings, technical discussions, and ensure smooth communication between all project parties.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in

Mechanical Engineering

(mandatory).

Minimum 5-7 years of consultant experience

in mechanical inspection within the UAE.

Hotel project experience is mandatory.

Strong knowledge of

mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting)

. Familiarity with international standards such as

ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, IPC

and local authority codes (Dubai Municipality, DCD, DEWA, etc.). Excellent skills in

report writing, documentation, and quality control procedures

. Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary project team.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Previous experience with leading international consultancy firms. Exposure to

large-scale hotel, hospitality, or high-rise building projects

. Available in the UAE and able to join immediately or within a short notice period.

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED16,000.00 per month
