Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced

Mechanical Inspector

with a strong consultancy background to join our team. The role involves performing technical inspections and quality control for mechanical systems across various construction projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations, international standards, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, and other building services. Ensure all mechanical works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.). Review and verify mechanical shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements. Monitor site execution and installation to ensure quality and safety standards are met. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to resolve technical issues and ensure proper implementation. Participate in testing and commissioning of mechanical systems. Conduct routine site inspections and prepare detailed inspection and progress reports. Ensure compliance with local authority requirements (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, etc.). Identify and report non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 10 years' experience in mechanical inspection, with significant consultancy exposure. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems design, installation, and testing procedures. Familiarity with local regulations and international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, etc.). Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and reporting skills. Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.

Preferred:

Experience in high-rise buildings, infrastructure, or industrial projects within the UAE. Knowledge of local authority procedures and approval processes.
