Position Overview
The Mechanical Inspector role at Azizi Developments in Dubai is a site-based supervision position responsible for inspecting and monitoring mechanical works on high-rise and residential construction projects, ensuring full compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and UAE authority regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor all mechanical works including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and gas systems
• Ensure mechanical installations comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and UAE authority requirements
• Review and verify shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and inspection and test plans
• Conduct regular site inspections and witness testing and commissioning activities
• Verify inspection requests and ensure works meet approved quality standards
• Identify non-conformities, issue observations or NCRs, and ensure timely corrective actions
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other disciplines to resolve site-related issues
• Monitor construction progress to ensure works align with approved schedules and quality requirements
• Witness and verify pressure testing, flushing, balancing, and commissioning procedures
• Participate in snagging, de-snagging, and final handover inspections
• Support authority inspections and approvals as required

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory
• 8 to 15 years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Inspector or in a similar role
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with consultant firms in the UAE
• Strong experience on high-rise and residential construction projects
• In-depth knowledge of UAE mechanical codes, standards, and authority requirements
• Good understanding of QA QC procedures, testing, and commissioning processes
