The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mechanical Inspector to join our MEP consultancy team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all mechanical installations and systems comply with industry standards and project specifications, contributing to the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions. Responsibilities: - Inspect mechanical systems and installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and quality standards. - Conduct site visits to monitor the progress and quality of mechanical work performed by contractors. - Identify and report any defects, discrepancies, or non-conformities and recommend corrective actions. - Collaborate with project engineers, contractors, and clients to address inspection findings and ensure timely resolution. - Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and related documentation to verify compliance. - Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation. - Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on site. - Support quality assurance procedures and assist in continuous improvement initiatives.



Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - Proven experience as a Mechanical Inspector within the MEP consultancy or construction industry, preferably in the UAE. - Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, codes, standards, and industry best practices. - Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. - Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documents. - Proficient in preparing inspection reports and documentation. - Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. - Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to mechanical works. - Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a dynamic project environment.
