: :Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Mechanical Inspector to join our team! In this role you will get to check and review the plans and specifications for the proper construction and quality implementation at job site, perform pre-inspection to ensure that all installed materials are within the standard in conformance to applicable drawings and specs.What You'll Be Doing:Checks and reviews the plans and specifications for the proper construction and quality implementation at job site, perform pre-inspection to ensure that all installed materials are within the standard in conformance to applicable drawings and specs.Performs electrical inspections and tests, such as water/ wastewater pump station, wastewater treatment plants, piping systems for water distribution, wastewater collection, drainage, gas, district cooling, etc..Interprets design plans and specifications to verify the work installed and performed in accordance with the contract documents.Produces activity reports as necessary to ensure that all QC activities have been fulfilled.Provides general inspection on all construction labor and subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship. Participates in the development of quality control reports and procedures as requested by the Construction ManagerPerforms other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriateWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:Required Qualification: 4-year degree in mechanical engineering7+ years post graduate experience in the type of works to be inspected.Extensive knowledge of QA/QC management practices, processes and current technology.Proven experience in directing and implementing quality management systems and standards specified by Kahramaa, QCDD, IEC, ISO, ASME, ANSI, ASTM and similar organizations.What Desired Skills You'll Bring:Experience in testing and commissioning of Mechanical systemsGood written and oral communication.Proficiency in the use of computers and software packages related to QA/QC.Minimum Clearance Required to Start:Not Applicable/NoneParsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
