Mechanical Estimator (mechanical Engineers Only)
Job Description
Candidate Requirements: (Mechanical Engineers Only and is currently residing in Doha)
Valid UPDA certification as MECHANICAL ENGINEER (minimum Grade C) - mandatory
QCD certification - considered an advantage
Must be currently residing in Qatar
Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical estimation within an MEP contracting company in Qatar
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems
Proven ability to interpret tender documents, drawings, and specifications
Proficiency in preparing detailed BOQs, cost breakdowns, and value engineering proposals.
Experience in coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and technical compliance
Familiarity with Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) and local authority requirements
Skilled in using estimation software and Excel-based costing tools
Ability to prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals within tight deadlines
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in reviewing project scope and identifying risks
