Mechanical Engineer - Quality Control (QC)

Implement and monitor quality control procedures for mechanical works. Ensure mechanical installations (HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting) adhere to specifications and standards. Conduct site inspections, material verifications, and system testing. Prepare inspection requests, material submittals, method statements, and quality reports. Liaise with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and QA/QC teams to resolve quality issues. Identify non-conformances and implement corrective actions. Assist in final inspections and documentation for project close-out and handover.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum of 10 years total work experience, with at least 5 years in the UAE. Experience as a Project Engineer QC is highly preferred. Familiarity with mechanical codes, quality control tools, and testing procedures. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and QA/QC documentation tools. Strong communication skills in English.
