Mechanical Engineer - Team Lead

WINTER Refrigeration is currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer - Team Lead to join our team in Dubai, UAE.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for working directly with fellow members of the mechanical engineering team, mechanical design team & electrical team for project execution support.
• Engineering tasks including:

Mechanical Calculations (Pressure Vessel, Heat Exchanger, Structural)

General Arrangement Drawings, P&IDs

Process/Hydraulic Calculations

Engineering Evaluations

• Review & preparation of line lists & equipment lists.
• Review of project isometrics to make sure they comply with project requirements set forth by the client.
• Review customer specifications, technical requirements, and project scope for packages and related equipment.
• Provide technical support and collaborate with manufacturing, assembly, testing, purchasing, planning, quality, sales, and aftermarket service.
• Ensure that all projects meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Engineering with a preference in Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering design with a focus on integrated, detailed system design for new packages.
• Experience must include selecting equipment, piping materials, control philosophy, and preparing supporting calculations and specifications.
• 5+ years of Oil and Gas industry experience.
• Knowledge of Mechanical Equipment and Piping systems.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D & 3D, SolidWorks and other common engineering tools.
• Experience with International Standards such as ASME, PED, API, ASTM etc.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems.
• Ability to interact with all levels of staff including senior management, clients, and other disciplines.
• Ability to analyse, define, and solve problems.
• Ability to prioritize workflow, multitask, meet deadlines, and remain flexible.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
