About the Role

We are a reputable

EPC contractor

seeking a

Mechanical Engineer

with strong experience in

steel structures and erection works

for an upcoming international project based in

Hargeisa, Somaliland

. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive engineer ready to take on-site challenges and contribute to high-impact infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage

steel structure fabrication and erection

on-site. Oversee

MEP works

and ensure alignment with project timelines and specifications. Review

shop drawings, structural plans

, and ensure compliance with engineering standards. Coordinate with subcontractors, fabricators, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution. Conduct

quality checks, alignment inspections

, and assist in the

commissioning

process. Prepare daily site reports and communicate project progress to the Project Manager.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in

Mechanical Engineering

.

Minimum 3 years of experience in the UAE

, specifically in

steel structure fabrication and erection

. Strong knowledge of

UAE construction codes

and

steel erection safety standards

. Hands-on experience managing

MEP systems

in conjunction with structural works. Willing to work and stay full-time at the project site in

Hargeisa, Somaliland

. Excellent team coordination, site management, and problem-solving skills. Valid

passport

and immediate readiness to travel.
