Mechanical Engineer - designing, engineering, and commissioning advanced water and wastewater treatment systems.
We are looking for a
highly skilled Process Engineer
to join our engineering team and take ownership of
designing, engineering, and commissioning
advanced
water and wastewater treatment systems
.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in municipal and industrial treatment technologies and a proven track record of delivering complex projects independently within the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
Lead process design of
STP, MBBR, MBR, SBR, RO, DAF
, and chemical dosing systems.
Develop
PFDs, P&IDs, mass balances, and hydraulic profiles
.
Select and size pumps, blowers, membranes, tanks, and filters.
Analyze influent characteristics and ensure
compliance with discharge standards
.
Coordinate with
mechanical, electrical, and civil
teams to align technical designs.
Prepare technical submittals, respond to consultant/client feedback, and attend reviews.
Assist procurement with
BOQs, datasheets, and vendor evaluations
.
Oversee
on-site installation, testing, and commissioning
.
Support process optimization and troubleshooting during O&M.
Stay current with
industry regulations
, new technologies, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
8+ years
of process engineering experience in
water/wastewater treatment
.
Successfully led and delivered
5+ treatment projects
in the UAE independently.
Deep knowledge of
STP, RO, ETP
, and decentralized systems.
Proficiency in
engineering software
(AutoCAD, WaterCAD, or similar).
Strong technical writing, coordination, and communication skills.
