Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy

Description :

The Mechanical Specialist's main role is to give support regarding appearing mechanical issues in Gamesa & Siemens wind turbines. Main responsibilities include:

Take care of the advanced technical issues mechanical for ONSHORE Wind farms.
Focus on SGRE Wind Turbines. Especially G2, D3 and similar.
Direct contact with the Operations team
Collect field information for a complete identification of the incident/issue. If necessary, move to the offshore Wind Farm.
Give solutions or contingency measures to the issues

The main requirements are:

Minimum 2 years as mechanical engineer (Junior Engineer) focused in wind turbines and if possible in Gamesa or Siemens Turbines
An intermediate level of written and spoken English is mandatory, French constitutes an advantage
Education level: Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering
Digital skills: Office 365, proficiency with CAD tools such as Autodesk AutoCAD, Blender, SolidWorks, Autodesk 123D Design, or others
Knowledge of hydraulic systems and interpretation of plans
Traveling requirements: Availability to travel on wind farm sites 20%
