Job Description

:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced MEP Mechanical Engineer with 5 years of expertise in HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and drainage systems. The candidate should be capable of handling design review, site execution, testing & commissioning, and coordination with consultants, contractors, and local authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and implement HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and drainage system designs as per project requirements and authority standards. Prepare and review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for mechanical works. Supervise site activities to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with specifications. Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system sizing using relevant software. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (Electrical, Civil, Architectural) for seamless project delivery. Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems. Prepare and maintain project documentation, inspection reports, and progress updates. Liaise with consultants and authorities (Municipality, Civil Defense, etc.) for approvals and inspections. Identify and resolve technical/site issues to prevent project delays. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations. Manage the planning, execution, and monitoring of all mechanical works (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, drainage) in compliance with project specifications and authority standards. Supervise site teams, subcontractors, and coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth workflow. Monitor project schedules, resources, and progress, highlighting risks and proposing solutions to avoid delays. Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to design. Support in testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems. Prepare project documentation including daily/weekly reports, progress updates, and inspection requests. Liaise with consultants, clients, and local authorities (Municipality, Civil Defense, etc.) for approvals and inspections. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements. Provide technical support and resolve mechanical-related issues during project execution.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP projects (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting). Strong knowledge of local authority standards and codes. Proficiency in AutoCAD, HVAC/MEP design software, and MS Office. Excellent communication and coordination skills.
