Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Mechanical Engineer specializing in Plumbing to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing plumbing systems for various construction projects in the region.

Design and develop efficient plumbing systems for commercial and residential buildings using CAD software Analyze and calculate hydraulic requirements for water supply, distribution, and drainage systems Ensure compliance with local and international plumbing codes and regulations Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to integrate plumbing designs with overall building systems Conduct site visits to assess existing plumbing infrastructure and propose improvements Prepare detailed technical specifications, drawings, and reports for plumbing projects Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure efficient completion of assignments Troubleshoot and resolve complex plumbing issues in existing systems Stay updated on the latest advancements in plumbing technology and sustainable practices

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Minimum of 15 years of experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on plumbing systems Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and Revit In-depth knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations, particularly those applicable in Saudi Arabia Strong skills in hydraulic system design and analysis Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Experience with water supply, distribution, drainage, and waste systems Familiarity with HVAC integration in plumbing designs Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously Willingness to travel to project sites within the Riyadh area as needed
