Mechanical Engineer Mep
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Develop mechanical system designs, layouts, and specifications for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Review technical drawings, calculations, and specifications.
Coordinate with other disciplines and project teams for integrated project delivery.
Conduct site visits to monitor installation and commissioning processes.
Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and quality procedures.
Review and approve mechanical materials and equipment submittals.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues during construction and operation.
Maintain project documentation, reports, and quality control records.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in the MEP field.
Strong knowledge of industry standards, safety protocols, and quality procedures.
Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP) and mechanical simulation tools.
Relevant qualifications and certifications in mechanical engineering.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
