Designation: Mechanical Engineer - MEP
Reports To: Senior Mechanical Engineer and Engineering Manager
Interfaces with: Engineering Staff; Site Supervisor, Foreman
Function/Role: Responsible for day to day mechanical engineering activities as per the contract and requirements and in accordance with contract specification and Quality Procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Managing and Co-ordination of all project drawings, and associated technical data, gaining necessary approvals and ensuring the distribution and availability of the data.

-Co-ordination and preparation of design Input/Output. Validation Changes and formal design.

-Selecting, sourcing, scheduling and cost appraisals of all purchased materials.

-Preparation, review and update of short term of working programmes in terms of labor, plant and timescales, for designation of supervisory staff and labor for work.

-Monitoring the cost and timescales, liaising with the main contractor and where necessary gain approvals to re-allocate or provide additional resource.

-Liaison with the client or client representative at handover ensuring the availability and suitability of as fitted drawings and associated operations and maintenance manuals.

-To report a process any identified deficiencies or concerns during any phase of the project in accordance with Quality Assurance procedures.

-Maintain site working practices in accordance with company's Health and Safety procedures.

-Prepare and maintain accurate registers for materials and drawing schedules.

Education and Training: Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering Experience: 2-4 Years
Skills/Ability: Good Communication Skills; Ability to apply logical or scientific thinking and approach to a practical problem; Self-motivated and Innovative
