XYZ Designers is a leading multidisciplinary consultancy delivering innovative design and supervision services across the UAE. We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer / Inspector to join our site supervision team.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct site inspections for mechanical works (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, drainage, etc.) to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
Review and comment on mechanical shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
Ensure compliance with relevant authority requirements (e.g., Dubai Civil Defence, RAK authorities, etc.).
Monitor construction progress, quality, and adherence to schedules.
Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate records of site activities.
Coordinate with contractors and other disciplines to resolve site issues.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
5-8 years of site experience in mechanical supervision/inspection within consultancy or contracting firms.
Successfully completed at least two full construction projects.
Strong knowledge of local authority regulations and standards (Dubai Civil Defence, RAK Municipality, etc.).
Ability to review technical documentation, shop drawings, and submittals.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
UAE-based; immediate/short notice joining preferred.
