Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical systems for various construction projects, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, fire alarm systems, and low-voltage systems.

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications using relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP).

• Perform calculations for load analysis, voltage drop, short circuit studies, and other electrical system parameters.

• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.

• Review contractor submittals and shop drawings for compliance with design documents.

• Provide technical support and guidance to project managers and field teams during the construction phase.

• Conduct site visits to inspect electrical installations and ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.

• Troubleshoot electrical issues that may arise during construction and propose effective solutions.

• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and documentation as required.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in electrical engineering and relevant technologies.

• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and cost estimates.

• Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. A Master's degree is a plus.

• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in the construction industry.

• Proficiency in using electrical design software such as AutoCAD and Revit MEP. Experience with other analysis software (e.g., ETAP, SKM) is a plus.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and their application in building systems.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
