Job Description
Mechanical Engineer - Project-Based Responsibilities
1.Project Planning & Design
Analyze project requirements and develop mechanical design specifications. Create 2D/3D models using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo). Perform feasibility studies and cost estimates for mechanical systems.

Technical Documentation
Prepare detailed engineering drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and technical reports. Ensure all documentation complies with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications.
3.
Coordination with Teams
Collaborate with project managers, civil/electrical engineers, and procurement teams. Attend project meetings to update progress and resolve technical issues.
4.
Procurement Support
Provide technical input for vendor selection and review mechanical equipment specifications. Support procurement by evaluating bids and ensuring equipment meets design needs.
5.
Installation & Supervision
Oversee the installation of mechanical systems such as HVAC, piping, or machinery. Ensure proper implementation of designs on-site and address any deviations or issues.
6.
Testing & Commissioning
Conduct performance testing of mechanical systems post-installation. Prepare commissioning reports and handover documentation.
7.
Problem Solving & Troubleshooting
Identify issues during the project lifecycle and develop solutions promptly. Work on modifications or redesigns when needed based on site conditions.
8.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure that all mechanical work adheres to health, safety, and environmental regulations. Perform risk assessments and participate in safety reviews.
