Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with an established consulting background and official approval as a Dubai Municipality (DM) consultant. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering mechanical engineering consultancy services across diverse projects, ensuring full compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations and standards. The position demands close coordination with DM authorities, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate regulatory approvals and contribute to the successful execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a Dubai Municipality approved consultant for mechanical engineering services across various building and infrastructure projects. Deliver expert mechanical engineering consultancy throughout all project phases, including design, documentation, and execution. Review, prepare, and approve mechanical design drawings, technical specifications, and calculations in strict accordance with Dubai Municipality codes and standards. Manage the preparation, submission, and follow-up of mechanical engineering documentation for DM permit approvals. Act as the primary liaison with Dubai Municipality officials, addressing technical queries and ensuring timely resolution of review comments. Collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary design teams to guarantee compliance with DM requirements. Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and handover stages, ensuring mechanical systems meet regulatory and quality standards. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Dubai Municipality regulations, industry codes, and emerging best practices. Mentor junior engineers and consultants on regulatory compliance, design standards, and documentation protocols. Ensure all consulting deliverables meet or exceed client expectations, project timelines, and quality standards.
Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. Officially recognized and approved Dubai Municipality Mechanical Engineering consultant. Proven consulting experience within Dubai, specializing in mechanical engineering design and regulatory compliance. Comprehensive understanding of Dubai Municipality mechanical codes, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Demonstrated expertise in managing permit submissions and obtaining approvals from Dubai Municipality. Proficiency with mechanical design software, including AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or equivalent platforms. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining high standards. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities
