Mechanical Engineer

Full job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with at least 8 years of UAE

experience to join our team. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of Dubai

Municipality (DM), Dubai Civil Defense (DCD), and other local authority regulations, with

proven experience in HVAC systems design, installation, and supervision. Proficiency in MEP

AutoCAD drafting and expertise in documentation for consultant and authority

approvals are essential. The role involves handling building projects and

ensuring full compliance with authority requirements.

Responsibilities:

? Prepare and review HVAC, plumbing, and drainage system, drawings, and

calculations as per UAE authority standards.

? Design and verify ducting layouts, VRF systems, and ventilation requirements.

? Coordinate with consultants and authorities (DM, DCD, etc.) for design and approval

submissions.

? Prepare shop drawings, equipment schedules, and documentation for consultant

and authority approvals.

? Supervise and monitor HVAC and mechanical works to ensure compliance with

approved drawings and specifications.

? Collaborate with MEP teams, contractors, and consultants to resolve technical issues

during project execution.

? Ensure timely completion of all mechanical works within project deadlines.

Requirements:

? Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

? Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in UAE.

? Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including design, and site execution.

? Familiarity with DM, DCD, and other authority regulations and procedures.

? Proficiency in MEP AutoCAD and related design software.

? Excellent documentation and communication skills.

? Ability to manage consultant submissions and secure necessary approvals.
