Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and proactive Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and ensuring the successful execution of mechanical works for ongoing and upcoming projects. The role involves oversight of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical equipment installations, while ensuring compliance with applicable standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review mechanical designs, drawings, calculations, and technical specifications. Supervise and monitor installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and mechanical equipment). Ensure compliance with project specifications, local authority regulations, and international standards . Conduct site inspections and prepare reports on project progress and technical issues. Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and other engineering disciplines for smooth workflow. Review shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, MSRA, and ensure approval as per project requirements. Perform heat load calculations, ducting design, pump head calculations, and equipment selection. Support procurement by evaluating technical offers and assisting with vendor selection. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide effective solutions. Ensure timely completion of mechanical works as per project schedule and quality standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Experienced (MEP, construction, or FM industry preferred) / Freshers Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical systems installation and design. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and mechanical design software is an advantage Good understanding of local authority requirements (Dubai Municipality, DCD, ADDC, etc.). Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure. Valid driving license is must
