Mechanical Engineer
Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (2 Positions)
Department: MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing)
Reports To: MEP Manager / Project Manager
Location: UAE
Experience: Minimum 1-3 years in the UAE
Job Summary:
We are looking for two motivated Mechanical Engineers to manage and oversee the mechanical aspects of our MEP projects. The role involves working on HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, ensuring they are designed and installed efficiently and in compliance with project specifications and UAE standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, manage, and supervise the installation of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
• Perform HVAC load calculations using software like HAP or similar.
• Prepare and review technical submittals, shop drawings, material approvals, and method statements.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (electrical, civil) to ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Supervise on-site mechanical works, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and timeline.
• Liaise with local authorities (e.g., Civil Defense, DM) for approvals and inspections related to mechanical systems.
• Monitor material procurement and ensure the use of approved materials on-site.
• Conduct tests and commissioning of mechanical systems and prepare relevant documentation.
• Provide technical guidance to the site team and resolve any technical challenges.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in the UAE MEP industry, specifically with HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with UAE authority regulations and standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and HVAC design software (e.g., Carrier HAP, McQuay DuctSizer).
• Strong knowledge of chillers, FCUs, AHUs, pumps, and piping systems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
