Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our Building Consultancy team. This position requires strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and project management skills to deliver high-quality, sustainable, and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Checking of Mechanical Installation at site.

Expertise in supervision and implementation of mechanical systems for high-rise buildings and large-scale projects, covering HVAC/plumbing/Drainage/ Fire fighting etc.

Regulatory Compliance & Standards:

Ensure all mechanical designs and installations adhere to DEWA, SIRA, DCD, DM, TRAKHEES, and other relevant regulatory authorities' standards.

Stay updated on local and international electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

Provide expert recommendations to ensure mechanical systems align with sustainability goals and energy efficiency standards.

Project Coordination & Management:

Collaborate with

architects, electrical engineers, structural engineers, and other stakeholders

to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into the overall project design.

Work closely with

contractors, consultants, and suppliers

to ensure smooth execution and timely project completion.

Lead

technical meetings, site inspections, and progress reviews

to resolve design challenges and maintain quality control.

Technical Review & Approval:

Review, validate, and approve shop drawings/ technical drawings, and material submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications and authority regulations.

Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to improve system reliability, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

Leadership & Communication:

Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and support staff. Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, government authorities, and project teams to facilitate smooth project execution.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's degree or additional certifications in building services or related fields are a plus). Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong focus on building consultancy and high-rise developments. In-depth knowledge of HVAC and associated services. Strong project management, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
