Responsibilities:
Conduct heat load and pressure loss calculations for HVAC systems.
Select appropriate equipment (e.g., fans, pumps, heat exchangers) and design pipe and duct layouts.
Develop and oversee the installation of mechanical ventilation, pressurization, and smoke management systems.
Design and size industrial piping systems in compliance with relevant standards.
Perform site visits and inspections to assess system performance and quality.
Troubleshoot mechanical system problems and develop solutions.
Monitor installation progress and ensure quality compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Collaborate with architects, clients, and other engineers to integrate mechanical systems into project designs.
Ensure all designs and installations meet energy codes, building regulations, and specified performance parameters.
Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and submittals.
Assist with project management activities such as budgeting, scheduling, and resource coordination.
