Job Description

We are looking for a

Technical Mechanical Engineer

who can bring technical expertise to our MEP operations. The role involves

overseeing mechanical designs, coordinating with suppliers, quantity surveying and ensuring compliance with authority standards

, while also guiding draftsmen and supporting project teams in design, procurement, and execution stages.

Responsibilities:

Knowledge & experience in Drainage, Water Supply, HVAC & Fire Fighting Systems To prepare bill of materials as per client specification and method statements for execution. Manage and supervise draftsmen to ensure timely preparation of shop drawings, as-built drawings, and design revisions. To monitor the draftsman and to keep updated schedule of drawings records and issues as per job requirements. Should have good knowledge of AutoCAD software. Support Project Manager to maintain Quality, Schedule, and Cost of the Project as per approved Baselines. Prepare / Review / Approve designs, datasheets, layouts, templates, calculations Ensure compliance with local authority regulations Monitor statistical method reporting. Control all achieve documentation upon the completion of the project. Prepare detailed project cost estimates for HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems. Preparing Bill of quantity and quotations. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations, material submittal and technical compliance Participate in value engineering and cost optimization for projects. Preparation of Technical Documents Coordinating with suppliers.
Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's Degree in

Mechanical Engineering

or equivalent. Minimum

5 years of experience

in MEP contracting (UAE/GCC experience preferred). Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems. Proficiency in

AutoCAD and MS Office

Strong negotiation and communication skills for supplier and subcontractor coordination. Ability to lead and guide draftsmen and junior engineers. Familiarity with

UAE authority approvals

and standards.
