We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems in various construction projects, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other building services. You will work closely with architects, civil engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure projects meet technical specifications, safety standards, and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, review, and implement mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.) for residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects.
Prepare mechanical drawings, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance with mechanical design specifications.
Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and project teams to coordinate building systems.
Ensure that mechanical systems comply with local building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
Select appropriate materials and equipment for mechanical installations.
Assist in the preparation of tender documents and evaluate contractor bids.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mechanical systems during the construction phase.
Review and approve shop drawings and material submittals.
Provide technical support and guidance to site teams and subcontractors.
