In this role, you will be responsible for leading the mechanical design and engineering of various projects, from Office Buildings and Shopping malls and Villas and Residential Buildings, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. You will oversee the entire lifecycle of projects, from initial design through to construction and commissioning, working closely with cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with local regulations and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the mechanical design and engineering of projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
Manage project coordination from concept design to detailed engineering, including submissions to local authorities such as Dubai Municipality, Nakheel, etc and obtaining necessary approvals.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring project success and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
A minimum of
8 years of professional experience
in mechanical engineering, with at least
5 years of experience
in Dubai.
Proven expertise in the design and construction of
HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
in residential and/or commercial projects.
Comprehensive knowledge of Dubai's mechanical engineering codes, regulations, and approval processes.
Strong leadership and project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing engineering teams and projects.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proficiency in industry-standard software such as
AutoCAD, Revit,
and
BIM
.
