Mechanical Engineer

Location: United Arab Emirates

Reporting to: MEP Project Engineer

Overview

ALTA VITA is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience and a proven track record of excellence in all aspects of mechanical engineering systems. This includes design & installation of HVAC, hot and cold water systems (HWCS), drainage systems, fire protection and pumping equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and review mechanical system designs, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

- Prepare calculation reports, technical specifications, and design drawings.

- Coordinate with electrical and plumbing teams to ensure integrated system design.

- Conduct site inspections and oversee installation processes to ensure adherence to design and safety standards.

- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and contractors to meet project deadlines and budgets.

- Perform stress analysis, load calculations, and energy efficiency assessments.

- Stay updated with advances in MEP technology and sustainable design practices.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

- Proven experience in MEP design and project management.

- Proficiency in CAD, Revit, or other relevant design software.

- Strong understanding of local building codes, standards, and regulations.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

- Proficient in AutoCAD

- Experience with sustainable and energy efficient system design.

- Knowledge of project management software and tools.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
