Job Requirements:

- 6-8 years with at least 4 years of UAE local experience.

- UAE consulting engineering design office work experience for at least 3 years will be an added advantage.

- 4-year degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university or 3 years diploma from a credible institute.

- Provide design advice including calculations for the following services

1) Reticulation of domestic hot & cold water.

2) Pressurized & gravity services.

3) Pressurized & treated process water distribution.

4) Sanitary soil & waste collection system.

5) LPG systems.

6) Infrastructure (plot-wide) layouts of any of the above.

7) Firefighting sprinklers & standpipes and inert gas protection systems.

- Proven design experience using international standards such as NFPA, IPC, UPC, ASHRAE, CIBSE (any 3 at least).

- Knowledge of fundamental laws of hydraulics and pumps.

- Preparation of 100% Detailed design and construction level documentation.

- Direct CAD staff and check produced work for compliance with his design.

- Ability to read Architectural and structural drawings.

- Shop drawing review.

- Liaise and coordinate with other team members including architects and clients.

- Design in accordance with local authority requirements and facilitate the authority approval process.

- Knowledge of local authority sustainable building requirements such as DM GBR, Estidama.

- Fluency in English.

- Working knowledge in REVIT MEP will be an added advantage.
