Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Dubai.

Responsibilities

Responsible for mechanical engineering for rotating, static, package equipment, HVAC and development of specifications, data sheets, Material requisitions, technical bid analysis, Engineering Queries
Provide technical support to designers
Assist in discipline front end and detailed design input to engineering projects
Assist in executing and coordinating assignments within agreed budget and schedule
Provide technical guidance and support to the project teams and clients
Responsible for study, design, specification and services related to the engineering discipline

Skills / Qualifications

Must be degree qualified with relevant experience, predominantly in the Oil & Gas sector with 7 to 10 years experience.
Experienced in engineering design including conceptual, FEED, detailed design and studies
Capable of communicating and interfacing effectively with other disciplines, project managers, and clients\xe2\x80\x99 representatives
Must have strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards including AS1210 and ASME BPVC
