Job Summary: Looking for a Mechanical Engineer in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

• Undertake thorough research and analysis to gain a deep understanding of project requirements, technical specifications as well as industry standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing as well as quality assurance, to develop comprehensive product designs and specifications
• Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed 2D and 3D models of mechanical components and assemblies
• Conduct structural and thermal analysis as well as tolerance and stress calculations, to ensure the integrity and reliability of mechanical designs
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality materials and components for manufacturing
• Oversee the fabrication and manufacturing process, providing technical guidance and support to ensure accurate and efficient production
• Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical issues that arise during product development, manufacturing, or installation phases
• Adhere to project timelines and budgets, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality mechanical designs
• Perform any other related tasks as may be required

Job Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience as a mechanical engineer, with a focus on product design and development
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials as well as manufacturing processes
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical challenges
• Solid understanding of structural analysis, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics
• Experience in conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments for mechanical designs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
• Expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools required
• Must be familiar with industry regulations, standards and best practices
