Mechanical Engineer

UPDA / MMUP license
.
Job Roles & Responsibilities (Main Duties):
Prepare, review and implement mechanical shop drawings (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting) as per project specifications.
Coordinate with Consultant, Client, Main Contractor and Subcontractors for site technical matters.
Monitor site mechanical activities to ensure work progress as per approved method statements and project schedule.
Estimate material quantities, prepare BOQ, material take-off, and technical submittals for approval.
Manage testing & commissioning for all mechanical systems and ensure QA/QC compliance.
Attend site inspections, TBT meetings, progress meetings and prepare reports/documentation.
Ensure compliance with Qatar Civil Defense, QCS standards and relevant authority regulations.
