Job Summary:

Our client is a leading Supervision Consultant in Qatar, they are seeking a qualified and experienced

Mechanical Engineer

to join our consultancy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise, design review, supervision, and coordination of mechanical systems within building and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Review, design, and coordinate mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection. Prepare mechanical design calculations, drawings, and specifications in line with project requirements. Conduct technical reviews of contractor/shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements. Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, etc.). Support project teams during design development, tendering, and construction stages. Conduct site inspections and provide engineering solutions to resolve technical issues. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated design and delivery. Prepare technical reports, progress documentation, and project correspondence. Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure quality and timely project delivery.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred). Minimum

5-10 years

of experience in

consultancy or design supervision

roles within the construction or MEP sector. Proven experience in building services design, supervision, and coordination. Strong knowledge of

HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection

systems. Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, CIBSE, SMACNA, etc.). Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design tools. Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills.

UPDA / MMUP / Chartered status

(preferred, if applicable to Qatar or GCC).
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to QAR11,000.00 per month
