Overview:

Marmi Engineering Co. W.L.L., a leading name in the construction and design sector in Qatar, is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering department. This role is essential for designing, developing, and enhancing mechanical systems and components in our projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in mechanical engineering principles and a track record of innovation in construction-related mechanical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:

Design and develop mechanical systems for construction projects, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical services. Utilize CAD software for designing mechanical components and systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.

Project Coordination:

Collaborate with project teams, including architects, civil engineers, and electrical engineers, to integrate mechanical systems into overall project designs. Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure mechanical components are procured and installed according to project schedules.

Analysis and Problem-Solving:

Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications for mechanical systems. Identify and troubleshoot design issues, providing innovative solutions to ensure project objectives are met.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

Ensure all mechanical engineering projects comply with applicable codes, standards, and best practices. Oversee the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems, conducting quality assurance checks to ensure operational efficiency.

Documentation and Reporting:

Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design files, calculations, and reports. Provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders on the status of mechanical engineering activities.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay abreast of the latest mechanical engineering technologies and practices relevant to the construction industry. Recommend improvements to mechanical systems and processes to enhance efficiency and sustainability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer in the construction or design industry, with a focus on HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Strong proficiency in CAD software and engineering design tools. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Familiarity with construction industry standards, codes, and safety practices. UPDA Certificate
