Capital Engineering Consultancy is seeking a skilled and experienced

Mechanical Engineer (Design / Site)

with a strong background in

engineering consultancy

and proven experience in

high-rise building projects

. The candidate will be responsible for

mechanical design, coordination, and site supervision

to ensure project quality and compliance with applicable standards and authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities:



Prepare, review, and coordinate

mechanical designs, drawings, and technical specifications

for building projects. Perform

HVAC load calculations, duct and pipe sizing, and equipment selection

as per project requirements. Ensure compliance with

local authority standards

(DCD, FEWA, SEWA, etc.) and international codes (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA). Review

shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements

for technical accuracy and approval. Conduct

regular site inspections

to monitor progress and quality of mechanical works. Coordinate with

architectural, structural, and MEP teams

to resolve design or site-related issues. Participate in

technical meetings

with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. Ensure timely completion of project deliverables with a high level of technical excellence.

Requirements:



Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

(Master's preferred).

Minimum 8 years of experience

in an

engineering consultancy environment

. Proven experience in

high-rise or large-scale building projects

. Strong knowledge of

HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, and drainage systems

. Proficient in

AutoCAD, Revit, and design software (HAP, DuctSizer, PipeSizer, etc.)

. Excellent communication, technical, and coordination skills.
