Danfoss Drives is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to the further development of our product range. You will be working with the mechanical design of our future products, in close cooperation with colleagues from Development, Marketing and Supply Chain. If you take the challenge as our new Mechanical Engineer, you will become part of a team where we always help and support each other, and it is expected that our new colleague is a good team player, with a positive mind-set. You will join the Danfoss Drives Division in Graasten and become part of the Mechanical and Reliability Engineering team of 17 colleagues in DK.
Job Responsibilities
New development of mechanical solutions for the Danfoss Drives product range with a focus on sustainability
Collaboration with internal stakeholders and with external suppliers
You will work in an agile structure where there is an opportunity to stay focused
Use state of the art technologies including simulation tools to review mechanical construction and design for manufacture
Work with material within Plastic, Sheet-metal, Heat Sink and Gasket, where there is also a focus on new trends and recycling materials
You will work with 3D models and 2D drawings at different levels
Work with 3D printing and other types within rapid prototyping
Test and verification of mechanical designs
Documentation of knowledge and production related specifications

Background & Skills
You have a passion for developing products, all the way from an idea to a final product, that will be produced in our factory. Furthermore, you need:
Mechanical Engineer education (Master or Bachelor) or a similar education.
You must be passionate about mechanical development and have experience in this area
Be solution-oriented with a creative attitude and be a good finisher
Knowledge of 3D printing technologies and experience with 3D product design
Understanding and insight in simulation

You are able to work independently and at the same time collaborate with stakeholders across the organization
You are a team player and have a positive attitude
You are innovative and capable of finding solutions, take decisions and be self-driven
You have a robust personality and remains focused when facing technical challenges
