is currently seeking a qualified and experienced

Mechanical Engineer

who will be responsible for the detailed design, review, and coordination of mechanical works across EPC industrial projects. Scope covers piping networks, pumping stations, HVAC, district cooling, and fire protection systems. Provides design verification, stress analysis, and compliance review in line with authority and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review piping layouts, GA drawings, P&IDs, and isometrics. Perform hydraulic calculations and analysis for potable water, chilled water, sewage, and firefighting systems. Conduct stress analysis using CAESAR II for buried, above-ground, and offshore pipelines, considering thermal, pressure, and surge effects. Coordinate support and anchor designs with civil/structural teams. Develop HVAC load calculations (HAP/Trace 700/Carrier E20). Design duct systems, perform static pressure loss analysis (McGill AirFlow, DuctSizer). Develop chilled water networks and integrate with district cooling plants. Select pumps, AHUs, FCUs, chillers, and cooling towers. Interface with civil, electrical, SCADA, and instrumentation disciplines. Review and approve vendor submittals for pumps, valves, HVAC equipment. Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, AWWA, API, TRANSCO, DEWA, ADDC standards. Maintain Engineering Deliverable Master List (EDML) for mechanical works. Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and support RFIs/NCRs.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering , 10-15 years of experience in EPC industrial projects in GCC (pipelines, pumping stations, district cooling, HVAC). Proven expertise in piping design, HVAC load calculations, and pipeline stress analysis. Strong knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, AWWA, API, TRANSCO, DEWA, ADDC standards. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, CAESAR II, HAP/Trace 700, PipeFlow Expert, WaterCAD. Excellent technical report writing, problem-solving, and interface management skills. Previous experience with consultant/client coordination (TRANSCO/DEWA/ADDC).
