Key Duties & Responsibilities
Manage and supervise mechanical works including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and related MEP systems.
Review and approve mechanical shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, civil, architectural, and structural teams to ensure smooth execution and clash-free installation.
Oversee site installation activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Monitor project schedules and progress, reporting delays and proposing corrective actions.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring proper execution and timely material delivery.
Conduct and witness testing, commissioning, and performance verification of mechanical systems.
Ensure compliance with HSE policies, QA/QC procedures, and project safety requirements.
Assist in procurement, cost control, variations, and change management related to mechanical works.
Attend progress, coordination, and client meetings; prepare technical reports as required.
Prepare and review as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and handover documentation.
Support final project handover and client acceptance.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in MEP projects (commercial, residential, industrial, or mixed-use).
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and firefighting works.
Familiarity with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and local authority codes.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP experience is an advantage.
Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under project deadlines.
