Must have a valid engineering license issued by the Department of Municipality & Transport (DMT), Abu Dhabi
Ensure all designs and installations comply with
Department of Municipality & Transport (DMT)
requirements, local authorities, and relevant standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, BS, ASME, etc.).
Prepare, review, and sign off on
mechanical drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical submittals
.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated project delivery.
Conduct
site inspections
, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
Review contractor submissions, material approvals, method statements, and shop drawings.
Identify design or installation issues and provide
engineering solutions and corrective actions
.
Attend meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities as required.
Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and inspection documentation.
Support authority approvals, inspections, and final completion certifications.
Maintain professional responsibility as a
licensed engineer
, including ethical practice and regulatory compliance.
