Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of professional experience in the UAE and strong proficiency in relevant computer software. The role involves supporting mechanical design, installation, maintenance, and project coordination activities to ensure efficient and high-quality project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, pumps, and firefighting systems. Inspect building mechanical equipment and identify faults or performance issues. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner. Prepare maintenance schedules and ensure proper execution of planned maintenance activities. Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports using computer software. Coordinate with technicians, supervisors, and external contractors when required. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with UAE regulations, safety standards, and company procedures. Assist in commissioning and testing of new or repaired mechanical systems. Support energy efficiency and system improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in building maintenance within the UAE. Good knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, pumps, and basic firefighting systems. Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office, CMMS, AutoCAD, or similar maintenance software. Familiarity with Abu Dhabi regulations, building codes, and safety standards is an advantage.
