. The ideal candidate should be proficient in mechanical system design across HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting disciplines and capable of delivering high-quality engineering solutions for large-scale developments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and review mechanical systems including
HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems
in accordance with UAE regulations.
Develop and coordinate
BIM models using Revit MEP
through all project stages.
Conduct load calculations, equipment selection, schematic designs, and technical submittal reviews.
Ensure compliance with
Aldar development standards
,
ADM
, and other relevant authority requirements.
Collaborate with electrical, structural, and architectural teams to ensure coordinated MEP design.
Attend client and project meetings, respond to RFIs, and provide support during construction supervision and testing/commissioning.
Prepare tender documentation, technical specifications, and BOQs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
5 to 8 years of UAE experience
, with completed
Aldar projects
.
Proficient in
Revit MEP
and BIM workflows; Navisworks knowledge is an advantage.
Solid understanding of UAE codes and authority requirements (ADM, Estidama, etc.).
Strong communication, problem-solving, and team coordination skills.
