to join our project team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising mechanical works across various stages of construction, ensuring compliance with project specifications, local codes, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and interpret MEP drawings and specifications.
Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting).
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure timely progress.
Ensure work is executed in compliance with project standards and authorities' regulations (e.g., ADM, Civil Defence).
Manage inspection requests and site snag lists.
Prepare technical submittals and reports for approval.
Support procurement team in reviewing mechanical material specifications and vendor selections.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum
5 years of experience
in the UAE in mechanical engineering roles (preferably in building construction or MEP projects).
Strong knowledge of
HVAC, firefighting, and plumbing systems
.
Familiar with
UAE authorities' approval procedures
(e.g., ADDC, ADM, ADCD).
Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of Revit or BIM is a plus.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Valid UAE Driving License (preferred).
