We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Mechanical Engineer

to join our company.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the installation of HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, equipment, and controls, in accordance with approved project drawings and specifications. Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, SMACNA, and local building codes and regulations. Conduct daily site inspections to assess the quality of work and adherence to project standards. Serve as the primary liaison between contractors, clients, architects, and design engineers to facilitate seamless communication and project execution. Attend site meetings, provide detailed progress reports, and address project concerns effectively. Identify and resolve on-site technical issues, including design conflicts and installation discrepancies. Implement solutions to optimize installation processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency. Oversee the execution of pressure tests, airflow measurements, and system balancing to verify optimal system performance. Ensure that installed systems meet specified design parameters, such as CFM and temperature control. Enforce OSHA and site-specific safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), hazard mitigation, and permit management. Maintain comprehensive inspection records and update as-built drawings to reflect actual installations. Monitor the inventory of HVAC materials and equipment, promptly reporting any shortages or discrepancies. Review contractor submittals, including materials and method statements, for accuracy and alignment with project specifications.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in HVAC site supervision, particularly within construction or MEP projects Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC Technology is required. Prior experience in industries such as construction and maintenance are preferred. Holding a valid UAE driving license is mandatory. Proficient in reading and interpreting HVAC drawings, schematics and BOQs. In-depth knowledge of chillers, VRF systems, and BMS controls. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
