to be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of mechanical systems across our projects in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of mechanical codes, standards, and site execution practices, and a proven track record in the UAE or GCC.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
7 years of relevant experience
, preferably in the UAE or GCC region
Strong knowledge of local authority regulations and international codes (ASME, API, ISO, etc.)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or other mechanical design software
Experience in designing and implementing firefighting systems (sprinklers, hydrants, and extinguishing systems)
Previous experience in MEP, HVAC, construction, or infrastructure projects is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Design and review mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, plumbing, fire protection, and firefighting systems
Perform thermal, fluid, and stress analysis to support designs
Prepare 3D models, technical specifications, and drawings (using CAD tools)
Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and international mechanical standards
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, clients, and contractors
Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems on-site
Participate in project planning, procurement reviews, and quality assurance
Support project documentation and ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables
Certifications:
ADDC/TRANSCO approval, UAE Society of Engineers membership, and NEBOSH or IOSH certification is a plus.
