Job Description
Job Title: Pipeline Draftsman Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pipeline Draftsman to join our team. As a Pipeline Draftsman, you will be responsible for preparing technical shop drawings and specifications for the design and construction of pipelines. Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to work with coordinates and have a good understanding of coordinate systems.
- Strong knowledge of civil and MEP works, including understanding of piping profiles and pipeline fabrication detailing works.
- Develop technical drawings and specifications for pipelines, including alignment sheets, plan and profile drawings, cross-sections, and details using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software.
- Ensure that all drawings are accurate and complete and meet industry standards and regulations.
- Review and interpret survey data, topographic maps, and aerial photographs to develop pipeline routing plans.
- Assist in the coordination of project timelines, budgets, and material procurement.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop cost estimates and project schedules.
- Review and update pipeline design standards and procedures.
- Perform quality checks on completed designs and documentation.
- Assist with the resolution of design-related issues during the construction phase of projects.
- Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
